hah thats the plan. Were waiting until she finishes her teaching degree and has a job before kids. Then hoping to time it so the baby is born at the end of the school year so she has a few months at home. But who knows, I wont be sad if something unexpected happens

You have GOT to stop saying you are going to "pop open your rear end"... seriously, you are starting to worry me. Was Waffle House not enough for you? You need more?!?!?!?!

You know you always have a ride with me... but if you want to see how a non-station wagon rides, one of the others may give you ride, I'm sure!

I have two jeeps.
Jeep #1: 81 cj7 -31" tires no lift, but I have air lockers front and rear
Jeep #2: 06 rubicon No lift, but it is in the future
#28
We should be able to go!!
#29
So which is it going to be 8th or 9th?
I'm available for either but 9th is slightly better
#30
9th is better for me, but I can make the 8th work...
#31
Just looked at my phone calender... Im to assist on a Wedding shoot on the 8th... so looks like Im out :(
#32
How are you out if the only people who have 2 cented in are good for the 9th?

So if - and it sounds like it is - a Sunday trip, Bob and I will meet you out there. We plan on camping. Not a requirement for the trip, but anyone's welcome.

You guys also need to nail down what trail you are interested in being that there's a lot to offer. Mostly locked diff trails, but not all.

Sc00by can only do Sunday morning church since the AM service is the only one that is geared for the deaf, so most Sunday rides are out for him...

It's interesting you posted this last night, since I was thinking about trails this morning on the drive in to work. I can look some up and do research, but having never ridden any of them in FJ, I don't know the best choices. Heck, I'm not even necessarily married to Florence Junction if there is somewhere else folks want to ride (it was just the tread starter...)

Any input from Bob, or Chris, or anyone who has ridden out there would be great, otherwise, "I'm going to the Wells book" (read in the same voice inflection as "We're going to the mattresses...")!

Alan ya beat me to it.
But yes most Sunday rides are out for me, BUT its all good!! we'll just have to plan MORE rides :)g)

Theres allot of fun trails out in florence junction, weve done upper and lower ajax, woodpecker and martinez canyon before. H2H is also out there but I havent ran it, not sure I could make it actually

I was thinking martinez canyon would be nice. Its been awhile since Ive been there. I ran it when I was on 33's and didnt have any problems, actually did it solo

I *think a locked jeep on 31's can make it but might get hung up on some spots. Its been awhile since Ive been out there so Im not 100% sure on that

We did Martinez (Bob, Dana, and some other guy) last year in Dec.
Might want to look up info on the Luge bypass at current state.

From what I've seen
Upper Ajax will now get you body damage
Upper Woodpecker requires lockers to truely do with no bypasses (Firehole)
Lower Woodpecker was fun with sliders but we did run it backwards and it is short.

What rating were most people looking for? Then we can discuss which trail would fit.

You would need lockers to do H2H.
#38
Im up for anything. I think we should do WP... Even if you take the bypass on what was fire hole its still a great trip.

think we could do part of martinez and woodpecker on the same trip? Its been over 3 years since Ive ran martinez

also who needs a BLM permit? You should get those taken care of before the trip
