BACK WAY TO
CROWN KING
September 5, 2005
Rating: 3.0 (w/ bypasses)
A classic AZ trail offering something for everyone in-cluding scenic views, washed-out obstacles and complete bypasses (We ran it without touching one though, making it a great deal more challenging). Great day trip even though ours ended w/ a torrential downpour. |

FR98 BEELINE TO BARTLET
August 6, 2004
Rating: 3.0 (w/ 4.5 obstacle)
This offshoot of Sycamore Creek travels all the way to Bartlett Lake. Clearance issues and rock stacking for the DD a definite, as trail was in disrepair. Great secluded view of lake. Water crossing below dam required for trail completion/exit. |

RESCUE AND RECOVERY
August 2, 2004
Rating: stupid
Jared's Jeep slides off a narrow pack trail while family camping, and can't be reached with an H2. We're called to make the 2hr trip to assist only to do a little sliding of our own. |

SYCAMORE CREEK
June 27, 2004
Rating: 3.5 -4.0
Follow the rock rubbings to stay on the trail. Plenty of surrounding play areas. Main trail features "Squeeze Rock" and "Rocker Panel Pass." Definitely not for the spotter impaired. |

FR42 / VERDE RIVER
February 31 - 6, 2005
Rating: 3.0+
Mostly dirt trail that watershed continually has its way with. Plenty of flex testing and hill climbs and descents. Many trails lead down to Verde River and as many water crossings as your heart desires completes the package. |

SUNFLOWER LOOP
May 16, 2004
Rating: 3.5
Creek bed driving that seems to claim a victim each trip. A plethera of mines to explore along the way. A long steep climb at loops halfway mark, leads up and out to tree'd trails. Spider gears snap this trip as well as a transfer case each 2 trips before. |

CAVE OF THE BELLS
March 6 - 7, 2004
Rating: challenging
Cave exploration camping trip to lower regions and cooler temps. This is our second trip to this 1.5 mile cave. This trip lasts 5hrs underground and yields large underground crystal clear lake down a 200ft free climbing descent. |

DESOTO MINE TRAIL
November 20, 2004
Rating: 3.5
Mine exploration trip, we also run the Desoto trail in Chris's TJ. We find that the mine goes back over a mile into the mountain and contains large natural rooms and pools. Excellent views from above, but upper pit mines contained poisonous gas. |

MARTINEZ CANYON
November 2-3, 2003
Rating: 4.0
Gorgeous canyon that shows no mercy. We camped overnight, then ran the complete loop exploring the multi-leveled interconnecting Silver Bell and Columbia mines. Great trail featuring boulder gardens, carved canyon walls, and switchbacks. "The Luge" (and bypass) brings you back down. |
