THE CRACKS
September 1 - 3, 2007
Rating: 4.5+
We had the privilege of accompanying members of the AZVJC up to this great playground Labor Day week-end. While not all of our Jeeps could make every obstacle we had a great time on the run. Camping brought cool storms by night. Lost a set of spider gears on the trail. |

BEELINE - BARTLETT
June 30- July 1, 2007
Rating: 3.5
Night Run Baby. Time to find cooler temps, camp on the lake, fish, and do the river cross dance. We hit the rocks by the light of a full moon then flexed our way down the rutted dirt trail down to the lake. |

CROWN KING
February 10-11, 2007
Rating: 3.0
More a reason to get out of town than a rockcrawling trip, we decided to take the backway for a relaxing weekend in CK. We had a nice group for the trip including some new faces and new wheels. After camping near snow covered ground, we checked out a nearby lake. |

COKE OVENS TRAIL
December 3, 2006
Rating: 3.0
Phase II of our Florence weekend takes us down the historic Coke Ovens Trail. Not a very hard trail, but worth taking for the scenery. Ebded the trip by crossing the Gila, but we played too long and the mud claimed a transmission. |

MARTINEZ CANYON
December 2, 2006
Rating: 4.0+
We hit the scenic FJ area again for a little R&R with the Jeeps, bed rolls, and cameras ready. Martinez Loop completed Part I of this trip. Tough rock gardens always a clearance challenge seemed larger this time. Hit The Luge at darktime and made it back to camp. One sprung spring but easy fix. |

UPPER AJAX
August 17, 2006
Rating: 4.5++
We try our hand again at UA and find her nearly impassable due to new boulder growth and monsoon damage. Met up with some other wheelers and obstacles are met head on. J succeeds on his toughest challenge yet, but we're forced to backtrack halfway through. |

UPPER WOODPECKER
August 17, 2006
Rating: 4.5+
Our limits are severely tested by plus-sized obstacles, a storm ravaged trail, & super sneaky rocks. J and guest Cherokee driver Geoff take turns slapping them back. Dana's TJ unexpectedly loses its trannny at the trailhead. |

DIAMOND POINT
September 3-4, 2006
Rating: 3.0
An easy going Northern getaway, we point the Jeeps and GPS to some Payson Area trails, camp, cave, and mud it up. Trails chosen offered every kind of terrain. Much needed scenery change. |

SYCAMORE CREEK
July 17, 2006
Rating: 3.5 - 4.0
Trip #2 to this specific part of Lower Sycamore. Jared, Dana, plus Chris's neighbor Darren and son Brian in their Chero took their time this go and tried as much as possible. Great trip, even at 112. Damage includes a shock mount, Chero body ding, and J almost rolls it. |

PYEATT DRAW
March 11, 2006
Rating: 4.0
Our second trip to Py Draw gives us more of a challenge as the Jeeps face now underwater obstacles and muddy rocks. Storm sweeps through towards trail end and limits visibility and photo opps. Bead slippage leads to muddy spare change. |
