With Special J's chrome training wheels finally off, Offroadaz thought it might be time to cut him loose and see what he could do. We ended up going to Sycamore Creek, a favorite spot amongst wheelers out here in AZ. It's not so much a trail as it is just a creek bed-boulder field; the kind where you have to get out and check for tire rubs and paint on the rocks to see which way you are headed. They managed to run it both ways with only one person's Jeep needing a slight tug (the name will be withheld to protect the spotter's innocence). You definitely didn't have to strain to hear that they used every skid plate they had and some they didn't, and yet it still looks as though, we won't be needing to do any repairs- knock on rock.  If you look close, in one of the pics you'll see J trying to use his special powers, to help O off the rocks.

As you can tell by a couple of the photos, there were some nice fold your mirrors in / Vaseline squeeze points, and then theres the all to popular Pose Rock that Offroad swore he could make it up if his front end didnt keep teetering in the air. They also both made it up and down a super steep hill climb just for poos-and-giggles, but the pics of that are useless because they barely show any of the steepness at all.

-Not being originally from AZ, the concept of a dry creek or river bed still boggles me, but we do plan to go back when theres actually water in it, you know slicken up the tires, make it a real challenge. Until then, enjoy:
