This is crap

For the past couple years I have had a lot of problems with both of my wrists. Recently I went to the Dr. and he told me that I have sists in both of them. Over the past year I have been going to the Dr. every couple of weeks to have them drained. A few days later they fill back up and hurt again.

I went to see my Dr. again a week or so ago and he told me it was time. There is no point in continuing to drain them if they keep filling back up as fast as they are. So he said it is time to take them out.

I am leaving work in a couple min. to get the MRI's done on them so he can see how deep they go and in the next couple day we will schedualing my surgery.

My right one is really bad and the sist is visible on the outside of the skin, so we will be doing that surgery first. Once I heal from that he wants to do the left one.

For those of you that know me, I just had 2 surgeries on my right hand 2 years ago in July. I also had to go through 7 months of physical therapy. I am really not looking forward to this and have been doing everything I can to avoid it.

But it is time

These will be my 10th and 11th surgeries and I am only 28 years old. I am really tired of my physical condition and need this crap to stop.

Well I got to go so I am not late.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Wish me luck!!!

Wowzer. Yeah you've got crazy bad luck with all those surgeries.
We'll pray they go well and cease and desist.

I know this is a serious thread and the kids and I prayed for you tonight at bed time, J. Seriously, we hope things go well for you. If you need anything after the surgery, please let us know. With the young'un and all, if you need someone to do something around the house while you are recovering, just ask.

side note: Mike, that's funny stuff, man. I like the word play...

Our prayers are up too

My daughter had to have one taken out last yeat and it did real good and went smooth. Had the same initial problem tho, drain it and it came right back

The title says it all.

I just got the MRI results back from my Dr. and I was right. I have a syst in both wrists, the problem is with the right one. Due to the location of it and the size I have to have surgery on Monday the 14th (3 days). I can wait on the left wrist but it will need to come out by the end of this year.

More problems, Jen is starting to work 3 days a week and just commited to a Dr. that she would start on Tuesday (which was my day off). Now that I am using Monday for my day off and will be in cast for the next couple weeks we do not have anyone to watch Aubrey on Tuesday the 15. If anyone knows of anybody that would be willing to watch her just for that one day please let me know.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their prayers. I had my surgery today and everything went well. I have to wear a cast for the next month but my Dr. is expecting a full recovery.

Thank You all

God Bless

That's great, J. What an answer to prayer. We'll keep praying for your recovery, but that's great news the surgery went well.
