I saw debris set off a red light camera and two transformers go boom. Great lightning and driving rain.

YES very good... however wasent able to get much in the way of pictures :(

got caught in the leading edge of the dust & rain plus its late & I have to leave home at 3:45 am :/

I had a sense it was going to be good but instead of following that I fell asleep watching the news for an hour and a half about how we wouldn't see anything, it was all N and S.
Just before sundown I went out anyway. I wish I had gotten more but...

Well took one of my sons to dinner to spend some time before school starts and watched it blow in, think I could of goten ahead of it had I brought my camera with.
So a quick drive home and then gas so by the time I got away from any city light it was already too late.

Going to pick up my daughter around 4-5ish and then grab soem dinner then home, so it theres more tonight Ill try again

It's a shame that only you and I like lightning pics ;)

i like lightning pics too. i used to take them back when i lived at my parents. there all on 35mm though. havent tried with the new digital yet but i need too. those look awesome. i use to go out just because it was storming. now that i have the buggy its kinda hard to do that. you just get so wet.
