This could pull votes away from obama. That is a good thing.
#3
I know a lot of Hillary supporters were upset she didn't get in so maybe
#4
Is she equiped to run the country if something should happen to the Mac?

quick facts

Palin describes herself as pro-life and against same-sex marriage, although she claims to have good friends who are gay. In 2006 while running for governor, she said she would support a ballot iniative that denied benefits to same-sex couples, but her first veto as governor shot down such a bill. (Palin said she vetoed it because the Alaska Supreme Court deemed it unconstitutional, not because she supports gay marriage rights.) She is Christian and pro-life, but also a supporter of birth control: she's a member of Feminists For Life (FFL), an anti-abortion, pro-contraception organization. In 2002, she wrote a letter to FFL stating that she had "adamantly supported our cause since I first understood, as a child, the atrocity of abortion." She supports the teaching of creationism in public schools, alongside evolution. She is also a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association and supports the Constitutional right to bear arms.

Couple bumper stickers for thought...

Coldest State, Hottest Governer

One that was actually on her car...

Vegetarian = Old Indian Word for Bad Hunter

The more I have read about her, the more I have heard her talk, the more I am liking the pick.

I could care less what the pundits say. I think Johnny Mc, picked her because he feels she is going to be the best person to help run the country over the next 8 years. I like her theory's and philosophy's. Couldn't care less that her daughter got pregnant. Everyone makes mistakes and now she is going to have to grow up a little faster. I was however happy to hear that Obama said talk of her daughter was off limits and he'd fire any staffer that brought it up in public.

Plus I'm sure it will be good for Alaska's 1 electoral vote.

I'm trying hard to retain my position that all politicians are crooks and liars... but she makes me stop for a second, and think that this is what I want someone in government to be... themselves. Warts, experiences, preferences, and all. I get really tired of the rubber stamped political candidate.

I'll research more, but at first glance, the only thing she's missing is the Jeep... but I bet 'cha she's got one somewhere...

Some people I know are calling her the female Teddy Roosevelt

resisting the urge to bring up a candidate I voted for in the primaries....

Who was an even BETTER poster child for crooked, lying, opportunistic politicians that are truly in it for their own gain. The politician to remain unamed from your primaries... you are brave man to even bring that snake oil salesman up... Revolution my ass. :)=)

Bob and Michael I think you will like this.

Here speech last night was stunning. She is Tina Fey's sister, by the way... if Johnny Mac and Palin win this, Tiny has a standing four year gig on SNL as the impersonator.

I have to say again, her speech last night was stunning. Huckabee was great (as usual), Guliani was actually good too (even though I hate that dude... give me the creeps), but Sarah did awesome.

I'm actually voting FOR someone thes year, instead of AGAINST someone, like in years past... :)=)

Yep she did good on her speech

Huck scares me, Im glad he didnt get the nomination

Im still undecided on Palin. Im just a little leery at how accepted and charismatic she is. Reminds me of a female version of Obama a little. Anytime a politician comes out and everyone immediatley likes them causes red flags for me

Bad idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was up there last time I worked for Banner, the women up there can do what every they want, the ratio is 5:1, that is 5 guys to every woman. The locals told me women run around like crazy knowing the hubbies can't divorce them, where would he find a new woman?
