NM…
#1
So I took off to NM at 4am and pulled in at 11am… I was doing good till Gallup NM when I hit traffic and just kinda sat there for 10 min. I found out some fun things about my dads car. Cruse control only works till 90mph, after that you are on your own. At 125mph it will still pull you back in your seat if you put the hammer down. At 135mph I didn’t find a top speed yet and the road moves very very fast.

So I did the funeral thing and it was hard. I watched as guys sobbed while they told a funny story about Kevin. I listened as the girls told me how angry they were that this could happen. I talked to the widow just about anything she wanted to talk about. I know she is going to be ok… She drunk dialed me at almost 2 am. LOL…

The group of friends from NMVJC are amazing. These people came over at noon to help set up and didn’t leave till past 1 am just to make sure things were cleaned up and Cheryl had people around to talk to.

I thought about you guys as I was there and how grateful I am to have friends like you. Thank you for your friendship and your love. I love you guys.

Bobert, it was such a sweet, thoughtful, selfless thing for you to go to NM for the service and were able to spend time with his family & friends. You are truly a great guy! I'm so glad that you found us. Offroading/camping wouldn't be the same without you :red|
