Looking good Paul. So, what paint job did you settle on yet?
#63
think I'm gonna go with the digi cammo.
Paint does look a bit rough so it will be nice to get a fresh coat on it.

So far things seem good, drove it into work, can smell something roasting but no smoke.

Joe & Ryan took a look at the XJ, both complemnted on my welding and over all work!
They suggested I add more camber before they alighn it, so when I got home we did just that, drove thru our hood, but not enough to notice a difference.
Hope to get it in tmro and get it alighned.

Now the bad...
I put the big gear (final drive?) in wrong in the transfer case... so it wont go into H4/N/L4
So I now get to take it apart for the 4th time in a week :(
Other than that everything look good!

On a side note something happend today that really made my day,
While driving to the office an older gal in a newer Liberity that had a small lift & a roof rack passed me & gave me the thumbs up & told me it look good :)g)

Back from the dead... an update!
So it only took me a year & a half to paint it..

Took Friday off work (too much time in the office needed a break)
So to make the most of my time I painted the XJ.

Thanks to Mike for the use of the tacky paper / tape
Prep work / color process (paint a color, cover it & paint another color, cover... you know.. )

Final color - main coat

New sticker (Thanks again Mike!!)

Very cool, brother. Looks great. I'm still lovin' me some half doors on that rig and the Humble acknowledgement for Zack is uber cool.
