Ok so it looks like we are doing a more family-friendly, scenic trip the first weekend of January, but for those of you wanting more of a challenge, let's hit a trail out at Table Mesa. Alan, I know you're itching to get out... any suggestions?
#7
I thought my "itchy" problem was just between us... oh well.

It's been a year since JD for me and I really like that trail, LT is always fun, I did DS, but not Collateral... I'm sure Bob and/or Jack have a few suggestions, but I'm up for anything at TM.

Im going to run Die Hard in Jan.This time I am going to make it.

Jonathan said Anaconda is a good one. He says he ran it before, although doesn't have any pics... yet. It's sorta like DS, several waterfall obstacles. The guys he ran it with said it had changed a lot since the last time they ran it and said it was easier than before. There are good challenging climbs but nothing super scary. YellowSub made it all the way through without any assistance:)=) but cannot say the same about Collateral. What weekend works for you? Anyone else interested?

I'd love to run Anaconda.

It sounds like the family run is shaping up to the be 3rd of January, so let's set this one up for the weekend before (either the 27th or 28th).

I'm in. We may be able to talk Geoff into it if he's in town. :)=) I'm sure we can get a few more. Maybe Bill (lifted93XJ) can make this one too and we'll get to wheel with him. I see him on the 101 every other week or so. I don't know if Sc00by's rig will be trail ready by then, but I'd love for Paul to join us too.

In my HUGE station wagon, I've always got shotgun space if Mike and/or Bob want to go too.

Say yes to the dates and I'll post it in up and coming as an Anaconda run... then we'll post a family fun run for the 3rd of January and find a place with SNOW!

If you run Anaconda and have an open seat Ill tag along and film it
#12
just an fyi you will need to be locked to run this trail. Not as extreme as DS in terms of steepness of the climbs but used both front and back lockers and you never know what the recent rains may have changed

:-/

Humm
I only have a front locker & broke the driver side shaft on the Crown King run...
#15
it's because you drive like a sissy. }:)

(notice I didn't say "drives like a girl"... last time I checked, team yellow sub was kicking your butt! LOL)

Hey Dana and Alan,

I don't see either one of you signed up for the "Girls Run" this weekend? Of course Alan I'm referring to your lovely wife driving, but Dana I thought that would be right up your alley.

LOL Thanks for clarifying, Jack. For a minute there, I thought it was on!

I've been out of town 3 of the last 4 weeks and fly out again on Monday for another week. With the exception of a Christmas party on Saturday night, we're pretty much taking this weekend as family time.

For what it's worth, I did bring it up, it got shot down, I brought it up again, shot down again, dropped it. 8|

One step closer though. Maybe next year. :)=)

Damn, I wish I would've remembered about your all's party. I would've given the spacers to Bob for you.

Don't worry about getting shot down. I bugged a certain red heads red headed sister for 3 weeks about the girls run and all I heard was Blah blah blah. Blah, blah blah blah. :'(

Nope not gonna make it. I didn't realize there was a girl's run this weekend, plus got lots to do before Christmas :(
