Who's vehicle is this?
#1

Know them Bob? They are featured on the Hike AZ site as an abandoned vehicle on Cottonwood Canyon 8|

Man. That looks like Kevin's old buggie (Skii4x4). I think Mingola bought it. Kevin's rig doesn't have a stinger like that, though...

Strange. I just read a write up on it on AZVJC. (the purchase of the vehicle, not the abandoned vehicle part...)

That's the first spot I looked too based on the resemblance.
I'm sure it's ok now. It was posted on the 5th.

From Lance....

If you look on the hiking site, you can see the buggy is in 3 different places on Lower Woody. I would say the poster of the pics took them of his own rig. Looks familiar, but not sure exactly. And I do not think it is stuck/broken.

wheres the cottonwood canyon trail at? Is it something we can run?
#13
It wasn't the hikers for sure. They were busy trying to figure out what kind of new species it was.

You... no. You need a jeep that can get out in the dirt. ;)

Ouch, I like it. :)=)

Maybe there is a parking lot nearby?
#16
As a matter of fact there is a parking lot near by. :D That is on Lower Woodpecker which is where the parking lot/walking trail down to the petroglyphs is off the main road in Cottonwood canyon.

To me it looks like something broke on the rig. However I have a few people that might be out in the area this weekend going to take a look to see if it's still in the notch. I highly doubt it however since we'd have heard about it 2 weeks later.
