I am declaring February as HG4x4 Promotion Month. Let's get out there and find some Jeepers! The main thing that comes to my mind to promote our site/club is to put our business cards on some badass Jeeps out there! If you don't have a fat stack of cards, let us know and we'll get some to you. Also, if you come up with some other ideas, post 'em up to spread the word. I know I've been lazy about finding the cool Jeeps out there, but now I am determined! (I used to put so many cards on Jeeps that I had to take a picture with my camera phone so I wouldn't recard 'em the next week!) Now when I pass a built rig going the opposite way on the freeway, I'm gonna exit, flip a beach and go grab em!! Ok, so not to that extent, but I won't be afraid to go out of my way to card 'em. Maybe make a goal for yourself this coming month... whatever motivates you. Remember, it's best to write a short note on the backside of the card, sign it and maybe face the note out so the peeps can see it when they approch their Jeep (that way they don't think it's an ad and plus it's a whole lot more personal) And don't limit yourself to only parked Jeeps, if one rolls up next to you at a redlight, say hi! Keep us up to date on how your carding goes, maybe how many cards you place a day.Now let's get pumped up for February!!! (you can pretend tomorrow starts February ;))

Cool. I still card parking lot ones. Kinda hard for me to pull up to a Jeep in what I drive and tell them about our Jeep club. Aaawkward ;)

What's the ruling on cherokees? Maybe we could ration by only giving them half cards? Then too they'd have to work more at finding the site }:)

So what else do you propose for club fishing? Refferal count contest?

He's right. Signature links boost almost exponentialy when our trips are seen on other boards. But not being a Jeep, I only post our shots on X boards, photog, and hike sites.

Oh and I thought you should know that for the last year, at least the first 6 highest search results each month come from... xterra searches. 8|

It's nice to have more traffic, but my ideal goal would be to get more active users and drivers.

Chris, thanks for posting up on the other boards. That's one of the things I don't have a lot of time for, so thank you. My goal this next month is to wear my higherground gear every single day of the month! 8| Ok, not really but I will scout out my school parking lot and keep my eyes peeled!

I need to take my cards to work. There are 2 Jeeps I see on a regular basis. One is even a Wrangler. Nice black one.

Sick of sitting at home. Loaded up on vicatin, stack of HG4x4 cards in hand, I'm heading out this afternoon to tag some Cherokees!

If you are carding Cherokee's, just bend the cards in half since that's what happens to all Cherokee's that get wheeled eventually. :lol:

This site does get some pretty good traffic considering the "specialized" nature. Here's some comparison. My board for Jan. so far has had 19k visitors and 170,000 page views. Considering the expanded user base that the board has I'd say your traffic here is very nice.

Traffic no complaints. Just wouldn't hurt to have more people behind the wheel.
