With owning a rig that you work on you are bound to track dirt in from the garage. I know I do. If any of you have been up at 2am you have seen the steam shark infomercial. I got online and was reading about them. They seemed to be a great little getup with one problem. They break after 2-3 months. At almost $100 I was not willing to order something that wouldn’t last more than a few months.
I logged on to sears.com and found that they had them in stock and offered a 2 year replacement for $11 more. I ordered it.
I picked up the new steam shark on Sunday and opened it on Monday.

Assembly required:
It wasn’t hard to put together. Snap A into B and add water. The pad is attached with Velcro to the bottom.

To use it:
All you do is add water pug it into the wall and wait for about 30 seconds. The mopping motion should produce enough steam to clean the floor. If you need a little more just pump it a few times.

The floor:
Well… It did pick up some dirt but not any more than a mop. Kristi used it on the entry way and I couldn’t tell a difference.
The only nice thing is that the floor is almost dry as soon as you make a pass.

Over all:
I need a little more time with it. However, as of now it is not worth the money.

I had something similar back at my old house for our tile, worked okay but like you said it wasnt any better then a mop

Can you take the floor attachment off and use it to clean parts for your rig? :lol:

There is another steam product out there, not for floors, but it's portable and is meant to clean cracks and crevices around the bathroom and such. I think it's called the Steam Bullet. I wonder how well it would work on those smaller size Jeep parts you have to get clean.:)=)
