just curios, how does a lickright act in the front axle when not engaged in 4wheel drive? Does it click around corners like a rear one?

Yep The lock right clicks when you make a sharp turns. When you make normal turns you dont realyy notice it as much.

and when you get stuck in 4H and drive on asphalt you REALLY know its there!

The only time I hear the front clicking is when it's in 4wd. I don't hear any noise while in 2wd.

You can lessen the clicking in the front if you use some 75-140 gear lube up there. I used to when I daily drove my TJ.
