Under 5... Look at a doing a locker. Even if you NEVER want to get into the body trashing, look like lance, type of wheeling a locker helps.

You knew locker was going to be the answer posted. It's my answer to you and it'd be my answer to me. Your stance against is a common one, however flawed it may be.

It's the same argument you'll hear on any forum.

You hear it with 2wd truck people saying, they're glad they didn't get 4wd b/c they don't need it for what they want to do. A couple years later they'll realize they regret it and the rediculous question will come up on how to change it to 4wd now or they'll finally trade up (my old truck, jonathan's, steve's, any sad 2wd xterra forum).

You hear it with people who stand fast to their decision to buy a IFS 4wd b/c they would never need a solid axle. See how many toyota and nissan people later make the switch or drool over ones done.

And you'll hear it with lockers. How they will make things "not challenging" anymore. I don't need one for where I go or I'd rather drive with skill than make it too easy.

No one wants to believe that other people have the answer b/c they've already gone through the dance themselves. Bob's not talking out is pooter, he's been there and done that. Leave that to the IFS and the no locker people. Oh and on an unrelated note, let me know if you find a cheap 80-85 front waggy axle with lockers.

No one ruled out installation error. Plus it wasn't even in 4wd on a 4wd trail.
Plus it had a free lifetime warranty. Still does.

Plus that same locker is working like a champ for me front and back in a D30 and D35 respectively. I think it was that one, not all of them.

(oh yeah, and your fine rig is cursed by demons)

My lockers worked great and I wheeled the piss out of them. I had the cheep ones.

I love locker...(s). It's the absolute best investment we've made thus far (with the 4:1 & SYE following shortly behind)

I'm running Lock Rights front and rear on my rig and you know how much I've wheeled it. Only broken 1 cross pin up front and there were extenuating circumstances to that (like a 21 year old backing up a verticle wall to impress a chick at Sandy Beach )

If you have a warranty on it I don't see the problem get that locker in there. It makes a huge difference
