So Pulled out the old dana 35 last night, I got my hands on a ford 8.8 axle with the same gear ratio as my jeep with a limited slip for $150. It is out of a 2000 ford exporer. I am so excited, I all have to do is put on the new brackets and bolt her in here are some pics

Any advice before I start welding?

Take your time!

check your measurements a thousand times before you final weld everything.

who here has done this swap before?

having problems?

not yet but I am anticipating them. lol It seems simple, but I don't want to mess up the geometry. Is this pretty easy to mess up? Just preparing myself
