hummmm a trip out to table mesa sunday????? sound like it might be fun! any takers let me know and we can come up with a time and a trail to run. up for some fun with a long weekend, hey i actually am going to get a three day weekend what did hell freeze over or what. in honor of those who are going to moab we can pretend we are there in spirit!:)

I wish you would have said Table mesa last weekend. I'm leaving for yuma to go dove hunting friday night, be back on monday. Then I have the whole week off to hunt here. I would be interested in a night run in the next couple of weeks if anyone is interested. Some place local like boulders.

Talked with Russ and we are going to run the Pipeline trail. We are meeting at 7am at Chevron at the Carefree highway. Post up if you are interested. This will be on Sunday the 2nd.

4th Annual trip to operate from the Titan Missile Museum 80ft. Discone. This year will be bigger and better than ever!

W7AZO 4x4 Ham Special Event from Titan Missile Museum.
Trip to Titan Missile Museum to work HF contacts from the 80ft. tall discone antenna.

Everyone is welcome, ham or not, 4x4 ham or 2wd ham, etc. Bring your kids. Take the tour. (Tour every 30 minutes.)

Virgil K7VZ will bring the radio any anything we need to operate, but if you have a radio or other equipment you'd like to try, feel free to bring it also. We will switch off operators throughout the day and can also switch between radios.

It's supposed to be some good racing. 150 miles is what I heard. It's a good park. Takes a bit to get out there, but the park has great viewing, etc. I'm spending the weekend trying to see what type of vehicle is under all the mud on the mud on my trailer and tearing down the rig to start the dash conversion. Good times.

Open Seat Sunday: I'm hitting up TM Sunday morning and tagging along with Andrew the UT guys on day 2 of their Marathon (so there will be a lot of trails covered. I suspect some Die Hard and Collateral Damage action, as well as 'Conda, etc... I'll be playing follow the leader with Andrew, so it should be an adventure.) I'll be getting out to TM about 7:15, so leaving my house at 6:30 to gas up and go. PM me if you are interested. We won't be home until about 4 PM.
