I saw the Moab write up on another site and thought I'd come check it out over here. I am a west sider, living in Glendale by the 101 and 59th Ave. I have a TJ, 2000. I am the original owner and it has about 180K Miles on it. I like to do my mods myself and will pay the price for doing it wrong a few times for being able to say I did it myself. I have 373 Diffs, D30 front D35 back, both with Chrome molly axles, NV3550 Tranny, pops out of first unless you know the trick. (trick has worked on two of these trannies so it is a true trick) It involves a grinder and some clutch technique.

I have 33" MTRs, love them and I'm sad they are going away. I have a son who works at Discount so that helps with the costs for tires and repairs.

8K Bulldog winch. (Used on cliff hanger in Moab) I got stuck in a hole at the entry of the trail on the way out.

Fat Bob, I plan to make Moab! Never been so scared in my life.
Last year I did Hells Revenge, Flat iron Mesa, Steel Bender, Cliff hanger and Fins and things. We stayed at the slick rock camp ground.
