The usual supsects went out again this past weekend with for some underground shenanigans.
Jonathan and I camped Saturday night after scouting for a few hours and being rewarded for our efforts. I also met another caver in the woods that I knew from posts and her gorgeous photos. During the night the woods were alive and at one point a cloud came out of nowhere and rained and lightning just long enough for us to scramble and reset-up underneath the Jeep.
In the morning Offroadaz, AzSteve-o, his daughter, and Spshl J met us and we went under. Had a great time, got scratched up, and impressively, everyone made it through the squeezes. I was only worried once when Jonathan and I, inside a cave, found a branches-and-pinecones nest of some kind with fresh mid-sized poop nearby. 8|
The fall colors were at Level Orange but looked great in the green forest.

fun time, even though we ran into some other cavers and didnt get to hit the big cave we met some new friends and got to talk about caves in the area

that rabbit hole pic was pretty tough. Really had to motivate yourself while in it and convince yourself you wouldn't get stuck. Hard pushing with just your toes and not panicking when you could feel the rock push on you with every breath
