Barrio café

Had dinner there on Saturday night. Dinner for two with Ice Tea to drink no appetizer was about $40 after tip.

The food is a Sothern Mexico style. Not a lot of heat but real good taste and flavor. I was told by 4 people that the guacamole appetizer is the best around. It’s made fresh right in front of you, so you are hungry you might want to get that to start off. I ordered the T A C O S de P E S C A D O. Halibut fish tacos with cabbage & avocado and a light covering of baja sauce. You get three of them on a plate and they are piled high with the fixings.
The staff was around enough to fill your drinks and make sure you had what you needed. However the left you alone so you could talk without having to stop and say "Everything is good".

Parking is a little ruff, and it looks kind of ghetto from the outside, but it’s nice inside. There are no reservations or call ahead seating, but it’s fun to sit outside on the bench’s and talk… or at the bar.

So if you are looking for a some good food and a relaxed setting give Barrio café a try.
