Higher Ground - Christmas Party - 12-19-09
#1
Date: December 19, 2009
Time: 6pm
Place: Bob's House

What you need to bring
  • Your offroad vehicle (Cars get parked on).
  • Gift for stealable white elephant exchange. $20-$25 limit per gift. One per participant, just don't get 2 lame gifts that add up to $20. Try to make it something you'd actually want.
  • Side and or desert item and a drink (like a 2L, etc). Bonus points for bringers of said food/desert containing tastefully added bacon.

HG will purchase the burgers

Everyone on the board (and fam) is welcome.
We'll have some offroad movies playing on the projectors.
As always, this will be family freindly.

Last year's festivities: http://www.higherground4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1823

More info may be added. Stay tuned.
Maybe there should be a prize for best decorated vehicle...?

************ EDIT from Chris

Once we have a head count we will be dividing up food and drink. Last year we had about 22 people. Im guessing it will be around the same this year too

************ Updated again

Higher Ground will be providing the burgers

Everyone else please bring 1 side/desert and something to drink. Try to even it out so we dont end up with 10 deserts and no sides ;)

Please reply with what you are bringing, remember bonus points for including Bacon in your side

I'd be a little nervous about bringing cabbage. What if I accidentally brought lettuce instead? I'd never hear the end of it.

V - I'm watching you, bubba.

Like a hawk.

anyone remember how we divided up food last year?
#19
Sure. Some for my plate, but most in my belly.

That's how I divided it up, anyway.
