it is that time of year for giving and one small act of kindness can make someones holliday season that much warmer.

For anyone that is interested in helping or that just want to help collect blankets, I am handing out blankets to the homeless Chrismas Eve morning at 8 am. The location is down town on Jefferson. It is a well organized event and a great opportunity for kids to see Gods work helping the less fortunate.

If you want to help hand out let me know and I will give you all the information. If you are unable to attend but want to donate blankets please give me a call and I will come pick them up. Pleas ask everyone you know so nobody is left out.

Could you please post up or send me the dates and times for this event? I will try to collect blankets and have them washed and folded for you but I was thinking I would go with you and hand out sandwiches. If thats ok. Let me know. Thank you.

You are more than welcome to come. We are serving chilli there so anyone that wants to donate some cans it will be greatly appricated. We do ask the blankets be cleaned but we are having a foldind party a few days prior.

Last year over 900 homeless showed up so anyone with old blankets sitting around they are greatly needed. We also accept old sleeping bags and bed sets.

It is at 8:00 am on December 24th and I will have the exact location tonight.

Sorry I have not been on to update, I have been crazy busy with finals and getting ready for my National test.

Anyone who has blankets, sleeping bags or cans of chili please let me know so I can come pick them up. I need to get everything to Cheif Salomon's before the 22nd so we can have everything ready for Christmas Eve morning. The evening of the 22nd we will count, fold and load all the blankets on the trailer and have them ready to hand out the morning of.

If you are interested in helping to hand them out please let me know so we can get an idea on how many volunteers we have.

Ok I have managed to collect:

9 brand new blankets
3 used blankets
2 used sleeping bags
4 used sheets

I have washed all used items and they are ready to go. Where do I need to bring them to get them to you? When would be a good time? I can possibly bring them to where you are loading them onto the trailer if that is good. Let me know.

My son and I would like to meet you somewhere to help hand the blankets out Christmas Eve.
