About time to look for a trailer again

Then I found this...

Guy wants $5500 for the truck

isnt the towing weight different for loading it on the bed like that compared to a trailer? I thought it had somethin to do with the load on the sprnigs and stress right over the axle like that?
#3
Im sure it is. The truck is a 450 same kind they used for some of the older flat bed tow trucks. Looks like it works ok...

I thought of the same thing. Dirt car racers do it alot, with light cars too though. I got a nieghbor that has a mid 90s four door with a long flat bed that hauls his dirt car.

When you get it I need a ride to AO :)=)

If you find a trailer you are welcome to use my truck

I think that would be more of a pain to work with than a trailer. Plus you already have a truck and adding a trailer should be cheaper. My 2c. Kind of a neat concept though. Have you ever seen the threads where the guys were converting old UHaul trucks into camper/Jeep haulers?

I like the truck for 3 great reasons.
1) Diesel HD
2) You can have the heep on top of the truck and still pull a small camp trailer/ camper if you wanted to.
3) You now do not fall in to the 55mph rule in CA..."55MPH MAX SIR...THE SPEED LIMIT IS 55..."

Will I end up buying it? Nope. Do I like it and would love to have it? You bet.

That one is sweet. Build the flatbed frame out of angle iron and use 2x6 for the floor. I think that would look better than an all steel one.
