It's Tax Return Time again...
#1
So... when you get your big fat chunk of Change from Mr. Hope, what are you going to upgrade?

An internal cage is finally sounding good this year!
#2
not expecting anything back this year

adjusted mine last year so I would get the money each month rather then at the end of the year

kinda happy for extra monthly money but missing the big check at the end of the year

Same as Chris. We usually get about $200 or less back. I like to break even rather than know the government was using money they shouldn't have all year.

My lack of savings ability out weights my righteous indignation at the government holding my money. I usually get 5-6K back each year and it's the only way I'll (a) save money, (b) pay off large chucks of debt, and (c) get significant upgrades to my Jeep.

hah yeah I was averaging around the same, but I forced myself to put the extra money each month into my mutual fund instead. Did the auto pay thing so I don't have a chance to spend it and forcing me to save ;)

I like to spend my State in state on outdoor stuff. Last year, a nice tent and some hiking shoes; year before, my Springfield.

Federal usually gets me to Moab and substitutes for my lack of paycheck for the week. Maybe I can save that for CO or for a just in case scenario.

as always i will look for a trailer.
#9
I will probably owe them...
#10
I'll be paying this year as well... :(
#11
Well due to the "change" and the "changes" my company made I too did the adjustment to keep more in the pocket... I know having the boys + house will help but Im not expecting much & as usual the state wont give me a kiss first :(
#12
What's this tax refund you speak of?
#13
I didn't work at all last year... can Jonathan claim me?;)
#14
Well... as I figured, state wont give me any $$ (long story with the clearing house & child support) No Im not a dead beat dad, my CS is paid weekly & is on time, but due to it getting paid weekly the state considers it late & then sends me a refund check at the end of the year (10 years of this cycle!)
And the ex has claimed a child she shouldnt of...
So this year my refund will go to retain me a lawyer and Im going to have my child support adjusted, figure 3 years David has lived with me and Im still paying her for him :(
So time to change that!

I am a huge fan of the family tax return as well! :)=)

What's really interesting, is I got back (within a $100) the same amount I tithed last year. Hmmmm... funny God we have, eh? :cool)

lol no kidding

Bout 2 years ago when the church was going through the finance series Megan and I both felt lead to start tithing. Problem was we had ZERO extra money each month. So we prayed about it and started tithing anyway. Within a month of doing that I was able to get a TON of extra overtime at work. Even when my schedule went bak to normal, we have more money left over at the end of the month then we did before tithing :)=)

Planning on some 12" King remote res. 2.5's and fab a new crossmember/mount in the rear.
I mannaged to rip one of the 5150's clean off a few weeks ago and that sort of sped up my rear suspension plans.

I bought a new to me d30 with an arb, high steer knuckles, complete rustys steering set up and stabilizer, and 4.56's.

I got myself two copies of checks I wrote to the state of Arizona and the U.S. Treasury Deptartment. :'( Maybe I'll get 'em made into decals and see if they add HP to my Xterra

If anyone wants to share their return with someone... :)g) Timmy wants a winch.
