Well yesterday started one of the worst days I have had in MANY years. I was at work, and we had a patient come in. She was in a wheel chair and weigh 532lbs. After about 30 minutes of her being out clinic she mentioned that she needed to use the restoom. So I along with 3 other people were asked to assist her in getting from her wheel chair to the restroom. i positioned myself in a manor to lift the patient along with the three other people to her feet so she could step to the toilet. All went well until she slipped and decided to grab around the back of my neck. I at that point heard the most ungodly pop which then dropped me to my knees. I was then taken to John C Lincoln Deer Valley ER for Mri's later last night I found out I have two hurniated discs and also a possible fractured Vertebrea. I am waiting to hear back from the doctor today to find out what the plan is and wether or not It will require surgery. Its bad, I am all dopped up on pain killers and have an oh so great neck brace on. I am in a world of pain and facing serious surgery. So my point after all this is said, dont help large people up no matter how much help you have.
