How is hail damage on a car repaired?

Well, didn't notice it right away, but my wife noticed tonight that her Grand Cherokee has one dent on the hood and 4-5 on the roof. Nothing major, but I'd like to get it repaired. Are they able to pull dents out without repainting? How is it done? How pricey is it? I'm guessing 5-6 dents is not going to meet my deductible on insurance. Thanks.

they have these super strong electro magnets that they place right above the dent and it sucks it out

Ok well its called "paintless dent repair". There are several places/people going to be offering it now and he near future.

They use long pic tooks, kinda like a log thin round pry bar. That cost depends on access. I think it like 300 a panal for hail damage. It does very from paople to people and size of dent and how the dent it self is. If you can see a crease in the metal its not going to get fixed with paintless dent repair.

Just a heads up. thought I would offer my two cents.

Not sure if it's the professional method but apparently sudden extremes of hot and cold "pop" them out...?
