Reynolds Creek Fall Color Pursuit 10-23-10
#1
Since Dana (Yellowsub) couldn't make it last year for Fall color 'splorin, I just had to go this year again ;)

Our best time connection was for this weekend, but the colors are getting to it late this year. We managed to find some hiking in on Reynold Creek Trail #150. The best was past the falls so we did 7+ miles finding the good ones and camera'ing along the way.
No bears this time and Dana wasn't sure if she was happy about that or not. Her ears were perked the whole way though and she found some prints and poop.

Even with the lack of bears and peak color, and the overcastness, I still had a great time with her. Glad we got to go find some of the rare evidence of AZ's Fall season.

Great trip! Maybe next year we can go when the leaves are at their prime, but the hike/colors were definitely not disappointing. I had a good time hanging out with you brother!! When we go next time, we'll bring mace and I guarantee we'll see a bear:)

I like Cajun Food, character-driven dramadies, and lunch in the park. I also believe if you don't find forest leaves stuck in the pages of your book, you're living a life misspent. Also, breasts.
