Well, as some of you know I bought a small 12' aluminum a while back and really never had the money/time to do anything with it. Well, I got a little extra cash and was looking around for a trailer on craigslist for quite a while and anything in my price range was just junk... SO, of course I have decided to just build my own. I have this trailer frame that I found in a field several years ago when I was working construction and I used it on the jobsites for hauling a 100 gal. fuel tank around. My original plans for it were to to build a jeep trailer to pull around wherever but chances of that happening are slim lol so I figured I'd get some use out of it.
Here is what I got done today, got it out and used the plasma cutter to chop off the old hitch. I'll need to extend the tongue 4 feet from where I cut it off to work good. Then, install a manual winch, two rollers and side boards. Other then that, fenders and lights and paint should do it! I"ll post this in the tech section once it's all done and complete. All ideas are welcome :)
