K, I write the "official" site trip reports  , so I'll just let this be a discussion until I make a new page for the run. So what were your thoughts on the trip. I'll get everyone a CD so they can post their favorite pics of the run.

I must say I was impressed with the drivers on this one. J did another amazing job of taking it up a few notches from any other trip.

It was great having new faces. Thanks to Geoff and Nick for the response to the call out for another Jeep trail runner. Geoff's Changler was a freakin rock magnet, but he pulled out all the stops and managed to keep almost all of them off while not backing down to anything either.

Good job guys. And don't worry, we'll get Dana's Jeep farther down the trail next time. I'm just relieved that it died at the trailhead and it will be a warranty thing instead of a mid-trail-out-of-pocket-break

I'm not used to being a cameraman... person. It's not nearly as fun as driving, I'll have to say but it was a different experience for me, too. I am also glad that the Jeep somehow killed itself (w/o absolutely any warning) before starting the trip. I am also thankful for AAA and my extended warranty! Wohoooo!!! So far I like this pic..... (will submit shortly)

Had a good time going out again, I need to get my stuff fixed!

Jeff and his XJ did pretty good on alot of spots, it was fun having them out. This pic shows how close he came to taking out his roof on several of the obstacles

Yay. Dana's Jeep, after getting a bad case of trail head, which I asure you is actually worse than it sounds, is going to be covered under warranty. She even got a free rental (a sad little Liberty) until they get her new tranny in.

I'd rather be driving a Lberty than a stocker any day. I've already had to do that for several months and wouldn't do it again!

Okay, the report on Upper Woodpecker is done-ish.

I'm sure you'll flood me with mistake alerts, but someone's gotta pick up my slack.

It was so hard to chose shots for the write up. It took forever. As I look back through the collection I figured I'd post a couple that struck my fancy- my J spot if you will:

I also thought I'd mention the UFO we accidentally captured in one of the shots:

Look at the size of that thing compared to Chris!

That was a great trip even though we were without one Jeep (yellow sub). It is a good thing we discovered the problem befor we hit the trail or there might have been a lot more damage done to the yellow sub.

I got a little nervous in a couple spots but everything came out ok with mild body damage. It would have been a lot worse if all the spotters had not done such a great job.

I cant wait to see the video and show it to other people. Pictures never do justice for what we really do and other people never get the whole picture.

Just wanted to say thanks and great job to all the photographers and spotters. Also it was really good to have Chris come along again, cant wait till his Jeep can join us.

Good thing I brought along an extra paif of underwear for you! You sure needed it after falling off that rock backwards

I not only almost shat in my underpants but it would have gone through to my shorts.

J, snap us a pic of the skid marks left only on your Jeep tub. We don't have a close up shot of the aftermath.

The part used as a slider here:
