Wall tent or hunting camper?
#1
Its not like its going to happen anytime soon. However, with the last snow storm I camped in, my big tent is now in need or repair.
This got me thinking anout a small hunting trailer or a wall tent. It would be nice to have a little more room for gear and to walk around in. It would also be nice to know that I wouldn't be having a tent cave in on me.
Would it be worth $500 to $1500 for something I use 3 or 4x a year and then would take up space?

Wall tent...

I vote yes simply for the coolness factor. That's killer right there, and it'll be worth it every time you use it, I don't care how long you have to store it.

I have been talking to people on some hunting forums and there are a few guys that have had the same tent for 20+ years. Seems like a sound investment if I dont want to tow a trailer up.

Yeah that snow was the end of my tent too...
I was looking G&F tent over after you & your Dad left, it looked quite old & had some leaks but you also have to consider the conditions we were in too, figure it had been raining for a solid 12+hr.
It also looked as if they had some how mounted one side of the tent to the trailer and had the kitchen stuff in the side boxes.
Id say go for it, I remember my Grandpa had one for a very long time then changed over to using a camper.
With the kids all but gone, Im looking at different set ups to include the wife, this one doesnt look too bad.
