Maybe just bored fun for me, but...
I listen to RadioU.com (national Christian internet radio broadcast, projected in some major cities) all the time at home when I'm online, and Sirius Revolution channel 6067 at work.
Well, RadioU was doing its bi-yearly fund drive since they are funded by the listeners and have no commercials. I understand it's a neccessity, but it is so annoying when they just push the drive for 50 minutes out of the the 60 of music time. Plus this one DJ insisted on making as much gibberish ear piercing noise as possible when someone would call in to donate, and it was impossible to sanely listen to the station at all. So I went to their website, signed up for a $35 donation with the message "Please make Cole shut the heaven up. I will gladly pay to keep him quiet so I can unmute my computer volume. - From Farley McDougal (my internet persona) from HigherGround4x4.com" And a few seconds later the DJ went crazy again when he got the money confirmation and then proceeded, unknowingly, to read the entire message attached to the donation out loud. It was awesome. The other DJ's made him shut up for the next few minutes.
Not as great as my bare butt being broadcast across the world to Malaysia and points in between via stolen MySpace backgrounds, but I got a giggle and our club got a shout out.
Ah, good times, good times for the easily amused.
