So its official. I didn't want to post up anything till they sent out the official email. I am the new night team manager for my dept. I will make a little more $ working lots of extra hours and dealing with lots more crap but I now have a manager title on my resume.
I ended up beating my goal of being in management in one year by on month. There are a few pissed off people at work but the people that count are happy to have me. I just need to remember not to make anyone cry.

My favorite managers were the ones who encouraged me to be a better person. Not just with my job but with every aspect of my life. They exemplified leadership, taught patience and understanding. The manager always went the extra mile at their job and because the team saw that, we had no problem doing it for them in return.
