Chelseas Kitchen Review

Megan and I went there Sunday for her birthday dinner

attachment

Megan ordered the Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. The steak was excellent, very buttery and had a great pan seared crust on it. She had a glass of prosecco to drink which was pretty good too.

I had the pepper crusted tuna with spicy napa slaw and vinaigrette. Tuna was great, the slaw added a nice spicy mix to it. I had the Belhaven Scottish Ale to drink. Was pretty good, very smooth and a little creamy.

For desert we ordered the Chocolate Nouveau Cake. It came with a scoop of pistachio gellato and whip cream. It was different how they had the whip cream on the side rather than on the cake. It was very rich but I was a little surprised that the cake reminded me more of a pan baked brownie than a cake.

Our bill for dinner, drinks and desert came out to $80 not including tip. We'd definitely go back there again.

Solid A

Jennifer and I have been there and would have to rate it the same. I had the Pulled Pork BBQ tacos... sounds strange, but it was fantastic.

Putting this on my "Must Try" list.

There is a new restaurant by Arrowhead Mall that took the place of McDuffy's. It is called 3rd Place Neighborhood Grill. Big selling point is that it has free daycare for the chillin's while you dine.

Highly recommend them too. I know the chef well. A significant portion of the earnings fom that place goes to support missions too.
