Our all in one printer just bit the dust. Of course being Christmas time it had to happen. :)) Does anyone have any recommended brands that they like. We had a Canon and it worked great but I am thinking that there are other brands that maybe better.

iused hp and epson and not too happy with them. my canon has be great and the printing to me seems to be better. watch the frys ad on friday bet you will find a great deal on one. the only draw back i find with printers is the single color cart. i perfer the individual carts to replace as they go out instead of the single pack.

I use a Canon MX700. Besides the wireless integration, I really like that it uses separate color ink cartridges. I can buy generics on eBay for $3.00 each.
The software Canon provides is pretty awesome. I had to scan over 100 photos last year. The software auto-crops the photos. Even when I put 5 photos on the flatbed. It auto-cropped each photo and made a separate JPG file for each!
The software also allows me to combine documents and make multi-page PDFs.
I really love this all-in-one.
The only gripe I have is that when you fax from the PC, it doesn't offer you the option of adding a fax cover sheet, or allow you to attach more than one document to fax.
