Mt Graham - Labor Day Wknd 2012
#1
Led a group up to one of my Arizona favorites, Mt Graham for Labor Day wknd.
There were some complications at first but it leveled out, then peaked pretty well.
I think at one point we had 24-26ish people.

Graham puts you at 10,000ft overlooking regular old boring AZ. At its height, there is at least a 30degree difference in temperature from its base.
It recorded an average the last couple years of 10" of rain in the August months.
Phoenix's average in an entire year is 8.29
Mount Graham's rainfall measured 33.91" total in 2011.
Add all that up and you have in some spot what equates to a Washington State looking forest, with waterfalls, mushrooms and wildflowers.

Last night.
Climbed to top of highest point and up the abandoned Fire lookout tower. Cranked the old windows open and watched the sun set.

They were taken by Mike (Skatchkins), who is both skilled and professional.
