I have had my .40 a long time now. It has never been a great gun. Its been a "toss it in the jeep" "loan it to a friend" type of gun. I would like to look for a newgun that I can use for CC.

I believe showboat has one. I use to have one, but sold it. I found it to be too big, heavy, and lacked accuracy. However, Bob, you are a giant among men. You could probably carry/conceal a tommy gun!

Although you are Strong Like Bear, wouldn't you benefit from carrying a lighter gun? Polymer frame?

I recently shot several Ruger SR9 and SR9c. These guns are FANTASTIC to shoot. They have an odd trigger, but it's a plus. They seem to have little slack and are very accurate. The last SR9c I shot, I mickey moused 3 shots into the 10x @ 10 yards rapid fire.

Lighter is better. I will take a look at the SR9/c Time to start looking for a deal.

I had been reading up on the Kahr and liked it. I looked on backpage and most people were selling them used for $400. I wish I had the $ ready to go. It takes me a little while to save up. :rolleyes: I figure as long as I get something before Obama gets back in office I should be good to go.

On a side note, I was out last night and we were talking about CC and 2 of the people at the table said to look at Kahr.

Its too bad you could not take advantage of that sale. $100 off was a good deal!!
