Lookin for a place to do a Run N' Gun.

I've been thinking about organizing a Run N' Gun event. Basically, get a bunch of people together, pack up a bunch of GUNS, RUN a trail to a remote location and blow the heck out of the side of a hill. Bust out the BBQ grill, eat/drink/socialize, then go home. Table Mesa first comes to mind but it's getting dangerous out there. There is just too many people there. Anyone interested on doing something like this on a Sunday? If so, where could we go?

Id be interested. Someplace with 50+ yards of firing room would be nice.
Lots of open desert south near FJ. Im not too sure about open spots to the north

I was thinking FJ as well, or theres always 4peaks, run to the very top and take FR422 till it ends, but its kinda long and I hate 4peaks. FJ has lots of open desert though. To much is closed at table mesa, and so far all the trails I've found are either to long of a run/to far away, or really no open space.

It doesn't have to be a challenging boulder enfused obsticle trail. It can just be a nice "get outta dodge" trail that can be fun for everyone (including unmodified vehicles). It just needs to be a safe area for shooting.

I would be interested but it all depends on the weekend. I work every other.

We could always drive up towards Prescott area, or even payson area.

My campsite, which is a decent ways in on the RIM is only 3 hours from chandler, obviously we wouldn't go that far in for just one day, but point being is that it's not to far of a drive.
