computer guys question
#1
Ok so Im tired of paying for "really"fast internet which is 18mg. Hopefully that the right (mg) mega bites right? So I have 18 now through cox can I drop that down to 3mg and would that be fine for wifi? we hardly use the home comp any more and we use our IPADs or ITOUCHs. Would it affect it that much? Thanks for any responses.

what type of browsing do you do? video and music streaming? or just surfing web sites?

3 meg is all that I can get where I live.. DSL only. It's just fine.. YouTube may have to buffer for 30 secs or so if you are watching an HD video, but that's about it.. I stream movies from HBO and stuff on my ipad no problem, and I can play my Call of Duty just fine on Xbox Live.. So I don't see why 3 meg wouldn't work for you.

I run the 3 MB at my house (wireless as well) with no issues, stream Netflix, watch YouTube videos on Apple TV, upload Jeep videos, surf the web just fine, etc...

Ok we'll we don't play games or watch movies on line. We do have the Xbox and wII hooked up wifi. Would it slow down since usually I play mw3 on Xbox live and she is on her iPad?

As for the server. I have no idea what it is Chris. Maybe Alan or James remember what I have?

I only recall you having an enhanced modem, running an iPad, desktop PC, TV, Wii, and Xbox. If there was a server, I didn't see it.
