Visually amazing. Best use of 3d I have seen in a movie. Its worth seeing in the theater just for the stunning visuals. It definitely will lose some of the effect on a smaller home screen

Story is pretty good. Its 1st and 3rd person, an author is interviewing Pi about his life, and Pi tells his story. Its about an Indian kid whos family owned a zoo in India, they plan on moving to Canada when the boat sinks. The rest of the movie is about Pi and his struggle for survival

Life of Pi was one of the better films Ive seen in 2012
