New Years Day Box Canyon
#1
After finally waking up, and making a run to I-Hop we decided to enjoy the day.. buddy of mine has a nice 4 runner and has never really wheeled anything but a few quads. So, I took him to Box canyon...

We didn't leave Chandler till about 230, and I've always entered Box Canyon through entering on Cottonwood road... well, after running into closed gate after closed gate, we went back out and entered alone Price road and ran it that way, which I have never done before. Took a few pictures, pretty uneventful... but, everyone likes pictures, right?

It was nice that we showed up late, because we didn't see one person out there the whole trail. Just a few on the main roads leaving.

sorry for the blurry phone pictures...

I did end up having to strap him up the last 8 inches of the waterfall, he was so so close but I really didn't feel like dealing with a shredded tire or something, and he was pretty nervous going up anyways, because I originally told him he'd only have to go down...thinking I could have found my way in the other direction. Not to bad for street tires and rockstar wheels :) lol

YES everyone loves pictures.

Looks like a great day in the dirt. Your buddy is pretty cool. It was good to meet him at the coves. He needs a CJ though... :-)

He'll have to give up his dream, then. Those things are rare and expensive and only to be drive by people who really know their stuff (and are Moab certified on all 18 trails and has the stickers to prove it...)

Most of us have a gun on us at all times. Part fun part security
