Here's my first "gotta have it" gun.
Charter Arms Pitbull in 9mm and 40S&W. Ok, that's two guns but in the same family. This is the first quality functional revolver that takes rimless 9mm (or 40S&W) without the need of moon clips. Pretty awesome! They also use a one-piece frame design which reduces the number of moving parts in the gun. Their barrel system has more grooves than traditional revolvers. With a 3.5# single action and a 8.5# double action, it's pretty on par with other manufacturers.
This would make a wonderful companion/backup gun for your existing 9mm or 40S&W.
It uses a double spring extractor system to lock the cartridge in place and, when it extracts, the rounds lift up and out like an Outback Bloomin' Onion.
Yup.. gotta have one.
