I knew the polymer frame was not as strong as an aluminum frame. It's just for sport shooting and plinking. Since I had one built I want to see how it performed out in the field. Well, I broke it. It cracked it. It split at the rear, right down through the rear takedown pin, through the selecteor switch, and right under the grip.
It was installed on one of my heavier uppers and I had the suppressor on it, too. The rifle was strapped to my rear seat by the barrel and the stock was on the ground. I was speeding along a rough trail and the bumping around must have stressed the receiver and it snapped.
So, all you guys who purchased one, be careful. It's not intended to be a battle rifle. Keep it in the rifle bag and don't abuse it.
I think it's still a nice receiver, but it will not be part of my Zombie Prep Collection.
