Not the locker...
#1
So I tore into the jeep last night with the help of my friend Dave. I looked at a few things and then he stood down the street and watched as things moved when I drove by.
He noticed that the front driveshaft was moving more than it should. We decided to pull it to see if that was the problem. We were thinking it may be bent. When I crawled up in the back to take the bolts out Dave noticed that one of the caps seemed to be walking out. When we pulled it, sure enough there was almost 1/2 inch of play where the cap worked its way out of the ujoint at the t-case.
I am so grateful to God that it didn’t break apart while I was driving down the road. That could have been bad!
I’m going to take the shaft back to the shop that pressed in the new ujoints and let them fix it.
I still may have a bend to the shaft… I need to see if they can balance it out too.

Phew.

So they should cover it then?

Yep. I took it down today and they will make it all good again.

Is it going to cost you anything?
