Check out the build thread. I am excited. New tub will go on temporarily for the months of "it's so hot my tools burn my hands".

Fixed the link above.

Works now! Making good progress.. Will you be ready to run the Rubicon this fall? :p
#6
No. This will take awhile. I wish i could run it but i am making suspension changes. i.e. stretch.
#7
Looking good!

Finally back to work on it. Adapter is on the transmission. Need to figure a few bolt sizes and the transmission should go it next weekend.

Cool rig. nice progress

Thank you. Transmission and T-case going in this weekend.

I got the transmission in. Life has been very busy. Every weekend for the last three months has left no time to work on the Heep. I hope to have time to put in the t-case before it heats up. Pics to follow.

My other projects are my son's CRF 50 and my Suzuki RMZ 250. I have a pic of Bubba's bike. I am still looking for a pic of the Suzuki.

]Found one of my bike.

T-case is in but I might be doing a stretch. This pic is blurry but my rear driveshaft is going to be awful short.

#15
Are you not running the same drive train as last time? Did I miss that?
#16
No, T-18 with 6:1 1st gear to a Dana 300 with 4:1 Lomax gears. My stock driveshaft may work. Still looking into it. I am trying to find my driveshafts. They are buried at this moment.

Transmission crossmember is in.

Body is on. Only 100 degrees outside today. Going to straighten up the garage tomorrow and put the CJ to bed for the summer.

#18
So awesome. Love the progress!
#19
Glad you got it on. Sorry I couldn't make it.

No worries fellas. Brother-in-aw was here along with my daugter's "friend", an Xterra guy and my future son-in-law. We got it in with minimal cutting. Ending up doing a 1.5 inches body lift and everything clears. Even to be able to have the piece I cut out welded back in place. Nothing is tight yet but my goal is reached. The body is on for the summer and the garage is clear for indoor wood staining projects.
