Been working on my bench and grip of the bar. I have been working for the last 9 months to move my hands out to a wide grip. Last night I was able to do 4 reps at 335 and then another 4 sets of 4 reps at 315. The form looked good and bar went up easy.

2 years ago my 1 rep max in a comp was 335 now its an easy 4 rep. Its a slow road but I am happy to see the change.

That is impressive. Bench is my struggle, I think I have wierd shaped arms or something. DB bench, no problem. Bar bench, weak.

Hit 365 for 3 reps last night. They went up fast and Im 99% I could have hit it for 4 reps.

On track for 400 soon....

Been benching 375 with a pause at the bottom. Hit 385 last week. Going to do 395 this Thursday and 405 next week.
I need to know I can bench 400+ before I am willing to think about having my shoulder worked on.
