Bob and I were talking... and we think this is doable. Probably 3 days on the trail to take our time, plus I'll have my trailer with me so it may take little longer. Needs to happen the week of July 15th.. I'll be in CO the two weeks prior to that and will drive over to meet up with everyone. If it's doable for everyone, I'd like to plan on being home the 20th or 21st to have a little time to get back to reality.. if not, I completely understand. Maybe meet you guys on the 16th or 17th at the trail head? Who's in!?

I haven't made any 2018 plans yet but I like this idea.

I'd hit that... as in every rock there.

I just looked and we should be clear on events (jeep jambo) for that week. I'm going to Carson city and around this time. Save those brakes :)

I'll probably go through the La Sal mountains and hit up Moab for a day before taking the 50 all the way over. Going to be sooo much driving. But so awesome.

It's during my kid's birthday but since I know in advance... I'm in :)

It just really depends on when we leave. Vegas is 5 hours from here. I'm not really sure what's available past Vegas maybe Goldfield. But if we leave on a Friday that would put us in about 2 a.m.

Start thinking about the schedule and where we want to camp. Buck Island is not a bad over night stop on the trail. I would like to spend a night at Rubicon Springs. Play in the water and go play on some rocks...

I'm leaving this up to you sir - you've been there before. I do love the idea of spending two nights at the same camp... giving us a day to just hang out, play on the rocks, swim, whatever.

I agree, buck island was a great camp and spending a day at Rubicon springs would be very relaxing.

x3 - one of the things we missed out on last year was exploring the old mining town, would love to spend a day there. The springs were the perfect temp too
