2004 lj

Well, Katie bought her first Jeep yesterday! a VERY clean 2004 LJ. Has a 4 inch lift, 35s, nice aftermarket sound system, not a scratch on it.. It's going to Letzroll for all new control arms, and steering upgrades in the next week or two once parts come in. There won't be a ton of stuff happening with this rig, just wanting to replace worn out stock parts with new stuff so it handles and rides nicer. She's planning on going to Moab and Rubicon with me in July now, so that'll be fun. Long term upgrade is to replace the front D30 with a D44 and re-gear it to 4.88s to help the 4.0 with those 35s.

Got some work done on it today... the check valve in the fuel pump went bad, so you had to crank it a few times before it'd fire up. So we replaced the fuel pump, put new plugs in it, and took off the chrome steps to make room for the sliders that are in the mail..

A lot has been done to this thing over the past few weeks..

It went to Letzroll for new Metal Cloak control arms and track bars, front axle truss, front 30 spline chromoly shafts, front air locker, and all new aluminum steering. Yesterday we got the sliders, brake lines, and shocks installed.

All that's really left to do is work on a little driver experience, but the Jeep should be good to go for Moab, Colorado, and Rubicon coming up at the end of June..
