Original plan was Mexico, but politics changed that for us.... so we are going to run Red Creek out Thursday morning, camp in the area two nights and come home Saturday. If anyone is off and want to come camp, or just come out for a day you're welcome. Will be cooking a turkey in the ground for Friday dinner.

sounds fun - ground turkey? like pit bbq?

Yeah, that's we are planning on! Never done it before, but always wanted to try.. gonna burry it for about 4 hours or so and should come out good.

With all the recent politics and crap happening, we decided it would be safer to not go.. State Department has a ranking system for parts of Mexico, 1-5.. Rocky point and surrounding areas are all at a 3 which is pretty high especially for that area.
