Well, in the Virtual Jeep Club, the language was getting strong again and we have some kids that go there and someone said something about the language issue and I jumped on the band wango about getting it cleaned up and now it has turned to a mini war and worst, they started in on the scripture in my sig and my spirituality and in trying to be honest and put out how I feel I think I struck it as just another dumb bible thumper......I feel if I just turn away and not say any more than people will be left with "Another one of 'Them' " but if I say any more I am affraid I am beatin a dead horse and making things worse!!>>.......

Sorry, just had to say it somewhere, I don't think I handled this one good at all, instead of glorifying Christ, i drug Him thru the dirt behind me.

I have been part of the group for almost 7 years now and this will come up again... and again... Let it go... There is nothing better than trolling a "bible thumper" They are easy to enrage and even if people are on the same side they will still work on trolling you. Let it die.

Also... Its ok to be one of "them" go on some runs with the others and let them know the trail you. That the best thing you can do. It shows that you don't care what they think and they can see a God centered life lived out.

It's too bad when a person who got hurt a long time ago by religion or a certain church doctrine now associates any spiritual aspect including a person's beliefs with that hurt and is afraid to let faith or whatever back into thier lives or immediate surroundings. It's just the "My daddy was a preacher" Scott Stapp/Creed story. It works the same with everyting else in life. I was abused by a man, now I hate men. A neighbor's dog bit me when I was a kid so now I hate/am scared of all dogs, even though I have the choice now to chose my own. Plus the fact that most of those people hate the neighbor/owner of the dog.

It's a catch 22 anyway. Bashers want to bash you when you're goody cuz they immediately assume you think you're better than them and they want to bash you when you slip up and do something they would do, because now you're a "hypocrate." In their mind they'll always have their cake and eat it too, so as much as it sucks, just let it roll over. They're the ones who will ultimately drown in their own waves.

LOL yeah he did. I'm cool with him. He gets all worked up from time to time... Hes like that in person too...

Funniest part of all this is that I never requested the language be banned, I simply asked for it to be toned down because a few of the words were, while disguised (lightly), very strong for a bord of this nature. Everyone assumes I complained to get it stopped, i just wanted the stong stuff stopped, like naming the male appendage, and a few things of this nature. I am just sitting back in amazement, reading the stupidity. YJunk is in several other threads now making a mockery of everything to the point that it is childishly humorous

Yeah, just let it be that then. He'll get his attention either way. If it wasn't you, it would've been something else.
