4,000 homes in goodyear without power
#1
About 16 hours after the power went out in 4,000 homes in Goodyear's Estrella community, residents are continuing to sweat.

Arizona Public Service Co. employees started distributing dry and wet ice at about 11:20 a.m. Monday, and are prepared to continue until the power comes back on.

Police said the power has been out since about 1a.m. and that APS hopes to restore power by about 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. Water was also shut down for a period this morning, but was restored about 10:45 a.m

That just stinks. Not only is it hot, but now you have to make small talk with your neighbor. Imagine 18 hours of "hot enough for ya" conversation 8|
